There truly is a thing for everything!
There is an app called Frameo, and then there is this digital picture frame that it enables.
You plug it in, and your pictures display over time, one after the other. Picture-frame style, but nothing permanent. You add pictures and grow your library, and you can leave it plugged in all day; it will display one picture after another.
My sister sent one for my mom. I
t is the perfect thing!
All her kids, wherever they are in the world, can friend her and send her pictures at any time. What a marvelous gadget for someone who finds such joy in seeing her children, knowing they are in good health, knowing they are thriving regardless of how dark things can seem! Pictures have been pouring in. In this very scattered world, technology really has a way of bridging gaps. It is such a simple gadject, I am certain it will not overwhelm her. I want to add this one because it makes me so happy everytime I see it!
She also sent a shoe thingy for my dad... I forget what it's called... ah! A long shoe horn, which also doubles as a dressing stick. I love it! I was on a boda boda carrying it, swinging it around and imagining how effective it would be to ward off thieves, how I could use it to slap a naughty car that's driving my boda boda off the road! It is very long, designed to support an elder who should not be bending too much. They can sit upright and get their shoes on with no hassle. Isn't it amazing? How there is just something for almost everything?!
This team is pulling its weight. Everyone in their own way.
Troubling times are troubling and almost crippling at the start, but they have their way of opening eyes, opening ears, opening hearts, and hastening things along. You always wanted to do something but you are the king/queen of procrastination? Well, here is a serving of trouble; let's see if that does not cure your "I'll do it tomorrows!" Troubling times are their own cure for procrastination. I am most thankful that I have the time and the vantage point to see all these gestures.
